Calling All Toddler-Mommas!

We have been having some sleep trouble with Emma lately and that has prompted me to poll YOU, yes YOU, on your child's sleep schedule! I would love as many contributions to this as possible so please pass it on to anyone you know!

If you have a toddler between 1 and 3 years of age, this is for you.

How old is your child?
What time do they wake up in the morning?
What time do they take their nap?
What time do they go to bed at night?
Do they sleep all night in their bed?

I look forward to hearing about your little one, and maybe you will be able to help us with our situation with our little one!

Love & Joy,

Leanne

  1. Just turned 2.
6:15 or 7 on a good morning, 5:30 some times.
We try for no later than 11:45 because any later and she doesn't sleep as long and has trouble going to bed. She normally sleeps for between an hour and a half and two hours.
We brush teeth at 7:30 and start settling down. We still have to rock her to sleep (one of our own sleep troubles) but she's usually out by 8 or 8:10.
She sleeps in her bed all night, but I still have to join her a time or two for her to go back to sleep. She needs water still in the middle of the night and usually can go back to sleep just fine, but not always.

  3. Rory's 15 months.
Anywhere between 6-9:30. Depends on if we have to take Andrew to work or not.
Takes her nap between 11=1 til about 2-4. Usually almost 3 hours (I got lucky in the sleep category)
We start settling down around 7:30 and have a bath around 8 then bed by 9:30-10. I have to rock her for a bit but then she goes to sleep (sometimes with a back/tummy rub) in her crib.
She sleeps in her bed all night. When/if she wakes up, I soothe her in the bed first and usually she'll fall back asleep but sometimes I do have to rock her again.

Do they sleep all night in their bed? no. we try to start him off in his bed. then he comes to room sometime during the night, and will ask for milk at least 1-2 times a night too.

Good luck! We got blessed with a great sleeper this time around, but my niece is almost 3 and wakes up around 5 or 6 every morning. Since forever. I don't know what's in store with our next one.
